Shipment & Delivery Legal Policies

What is your delivery policy?

An estimated delivery date will be provided after your order is placed. These dates vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location and the items you order. Products may be delivered in separate shipments.

You will be notified of the estimated delivery date in a confirmation email. (Not available for in-store orders unless email address is submitted.)

Mariahstate catalog, website and U.S. retail businesses are operated within the contiguous United States for customers within the U.S. and therefore do not ship or bill to international addresses. Mariahstate delivers to street addresses (not P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO) in the contiguous United States only.

Certain Mariahstate items may ship directly to you from the product vendor or manufacturer. In many instances, delivery personnel will deliver your order to your entrance. Other items are prestocked at warehouses around the country and delivered by a common carrier. For these items, a loading dock is needed. If one is not available, delivery personnel will bring your order to the tailgate of the truck; you will be responsible for unloading the items and bringing them into your building.

What are my delivery options?

You can have your items delivered to your home or office, or you can have them delivered to one of our Mariahstate retail stores where you can pick them up.

How much does it cost to have something delivered?

Mariahstate offers free next-day delivery on purchases over $35. Eligible items only. Excludes certain delivery areas. Other exclusions apply.

Additional handling or carrier fees may be applied based on products ordered.

What is a Handling Fee?

Mariahstate may apply a non-refundable handling fee on products based on their dimensions, weight, or other criteria. This fee will be displayed on applicable items within the search and browse pages, the product page and the cart and checkout flow.

What is a Carrier Fee?

Carrier fees may be applied on orders delivered by UPS or FedEx based on the delivery area, dimension/weight of the ordered products, or other criteria. Any applicable Carrier fees will be displayed when viewing your Cart and in your Order Summary at Checkout.

Can I purchase multiple items at the same time but have them shipped separately?

Unfortunately, no. That said, we might ship your items separately based on availability, or if they're coming from multiple suppliers. If you don't want all your items at the same time, we suggest putting in separate orders.

I won't be available to accept my delivery. What do I do?

If you've already placed an order with us, we may be able to reschedule your order for a different delivery day that's more convenient for you.

  • If you would like the driver to leave your products (e.g., on the front steps), fill out the Driver Release Agreement. The driver must take the note as proof of authorization. If you don't post a Driver Release Agreement, the driver will decide whether or not to leave the order unattended.
  • Contact us by scrolling up and selecting the Contact Us button located in the gray section above this article, right of the Search help topics bar.
  • If the delivery cannot be made, your order will be returned to the local delivery center and another attempt will be made.

If I place an order online and pick it up in a Mariahstate retail store, is there a fee?

There is no additional fee for ordering online and picking up at a Mariahstate retail store. Free delivery is available on eligible items. A non-refundable handling fee may be applied to items that require special handling.

How do I check if an item is available in a Mariahstate retail store?

If an item is available in stores, we will let you know on that product's page. Click the Check other stores link to check availability at another Mariahstate retail store near you.

Some items will be available for in-store delivery. Click the Pick up in store button on the Cart page. You can use the Change link next to the store address to choose the location you would like to pick up your order from.

Please note: Prices in Mariahstate stores and on Mariahstate.com® may vary. Availability is not guaranteed and is subject to change.

Does Mariahstate deliver to "Mail Drop" locations?

A Mail Drop location is an address where a business or service accepts mail deliveries on behalf of a customer. Mariahstate will deliver to Mail Drop locations such as a UPS® store (formerly Mail Boxes Etc.). However, Mariahstate is unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes, prisons or APO/FPO addresses, which are military overseas mail drops.

Why do I have to notify American Express if I want my order shipped to a different address?

This is a policy from American Express that must be adhered to both by Mariahstate and American Express customers. It is done to protect you from fraudulent use of your credit card account. It is in your best interest to call American Express and notify them of your other delivery address so your order can be authorized and shipped to you as quickly as possible.

If you do not call AMEX to notify them that you are using a different shipping address for an order, your order may be delayed. Our Credit Department will place the order on hold and call the billing contact for the AMEX card. If the billing contact person cannot be reached to verify the order, your order may be delayed.

Can I just pay the driver for my order?

At this time, we do not accept C.O.D. orders.

Can I place an order on Mariahstate.com for delivery outside the United States?

Mariahstate catalog, website and U.S. retail businesses are operated within the contiguous U.S. for customers within the U.S. and therefore do not ship or bill to international addresses. Mariahstate only delivers to street addresses (not P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO) in the contiguous United States.
